Task 2

COVID-19 is a large family of SARS and MERS viruses that cause diseases ranging from mild to severe symptoms. This virus is a new type of virus that has never been identified before in humans, which was then first identified in the city of Wuhan, China in December 2019. Corona viruses can be transmitted between animals to humans and humans to humans. Clinical symptoms will appear after 2-14 days after infection, but can be contagious even though it has not shown signs of infection.

Corona virus infection or COVID-19 can cause sufferers to experience flu symptoms, such as fever, runny nose, cough, sore throat, and headache; or symptoms of severe respiratory infections, such as high fever, cough with phlegm and even bleeding, shortness of breath, and chest pain.

However, in general there are 3 general symptoms that can indicate someone is infected with the Corona virus, namely:

• Fever (body temperature above 38 degrees Celsius)

• Cough

• Hard to breathe

According to research, symptoms of COVID-19 appear within 2 days to 2 weeks after exposure to the Corona virus. If you already feel these symptoms you should immediately check at a hospital that has been determined to deal with covid-19 virus.

Initially, Indonesia was predicted not to be affected by the virus originating from China, but in fact on 3 February 2020 Minister of Health Terawan Agus Putranto made an official announcement stating that two Indonesian citizens tested positive for the corona virus or Covid-19 and were currently undergoing treatment. at the Sulianti Saroso Central Infection Hospital (RSPI) in North Jakarta. Since the official announcement, ODP (people under surveillance) continue to grow, which initially only 2 people have now touched hundreds. The government began to be overwhelmed by this virus that spreads so fast and now President Jokowi is implementing various policies such as dismissing schools or universities and replacing them with online schools that can be done at home. The president also provides relief for SMEs affected by the Covid 19 virus by freeing payments credit.

The effect of covid-19 virus entry is causing people to panic buying which results in an increase in the price of a number of staples such as rice, noodles, sugar etc. Not only is excessive unrest in the community that makes people reluctant to get out of the house resulting in losses in SMEs to with large companies and even malls also reduce the speed of closing time which was originally at 22:00 to 20:00 and also some people who take advantage of public panic to seek more profits by raising the price of masks, the price of handsanitizer 2x even more than normal.

I have an opinion about the covid-19 virus which causes activities to be so ineffective from starting at home learning activities that cause me to not be able to ask more about the material discussed besides all infrastructure is very limited. In terms of the government, in my opinion the government is still very negligent in overcoming this virus from the start of lockdown not being held in the region that holds the highest PDP level and then the video of a pdp still circulating was released to be released from the hospital.
